I enjoyed this book, It gave me an insight to the ancient lives and their cultures. Proof of science and techniques used to bring these people back to life through history and giving a glimpse of their stores. I also enjoyed their ability to bring understanding for their lives through studies of their artifacts and bone and mussel investigations. I do believe how ever the artist rendition of their looks could have been more realistic and life like.I did not like the clay figures, they deserved a real face with real features such as they gave King Tut, and Kinf Phillip. If I were someone that was to be found two to four thousand years from now I would have no objection in my life being studied along with my body for an understanding our present day and future ancient civilization.

In current terms people have been digging up great men like Bach to do facial reconstructions on his scull in an effort to make history more complete.
Shakespeare laid a curse on anyone who might disturb his bones.
The very ancient reconstructions of unknown stone age sculls I can see but taking relatively modern scull from their graves when history does already exist I don't like.
Because the technique exists really doesn't mean it is "ethical"
in every case. Science has to have ethics or we become modern monsters?
